It’s two more days til Christmas,  the stockings are hung, the whole family from the West coast has arrived,  we are beginning to eat more, and most of the house is completely decorated. The stocking and mantel decor is something my father always thinks is important when decorating for the holidays, and when I visit mom and dad’s house for the holidays, it ‘s always beautifully decorated with fresh greens taken out of the backyard, pine cones and candles. This year, Dad chose silver reindeer and Santa sleigh stocking holders to hang the stockings. I love the touch of the silver on the mantel.
