One of the most popular brands we sell at iFurn is Southern Enterprises (or you might know it as SEI Furniture). Since its clear that many of you love Southern Enterprises furniture just as much as we do, we want to give you the heads-up on an upcoming change to the brand. SEI is changing their brand to Holly & Martin: a fresh, exciting new brand identity that we think youll really like.
So what is Holly & Martin about? Their logo says it all: Function Meets Style. Holly and Martin designers believe that todays furniture should not only look great, but it should do more. Wooden dining room furniture has been used for centuries to bring elegance to dining rooms. You may not have a grandiose dining room but that doesn’t mean to say that you don’t want one which is elegant and modern.
Oak dining furniture has a long history stretching back as far as Ancient Greeks and Romans when wooden dining tables were used to hold and serve food. Later on in history dining tables and chairs became more lavish and highly decorative. Read more…
Its almost September, which means the beginning of my favorite season, Fall, and one of the most fun holidays of the year, Halloween. I must say my neighbors LOVE Halloween. Many of them decorate their yards with spooky decorations and on Halloween night, you can see several haunted walkways for the neighborhood kids to walk through to get their candy. The kids love it and I love watching their faces as they go through it all.

Some of my neighbors decorations, I must say, are pretty elaborate. They have monster eyes in the bushes and some cool green and purple outdoor Halloween lighting.

KnollTextiles has a history of cool collaborations with other companies and designers like Proenza Schouler, Rodarte, and Abbott Miller from Pentagram, just to name a few. The latest to be added to this list is wallpaper company Trove.
Trove specializes in wallcoverings that contain large scale photographic and impressionistic qualities that are mainly organic in nature.
When Trove design duo Jee Levin and Randall Buck teamed up with Dorothy Cassonas, Creative Director of KnollTextiles, they created the Vivid Collection. The Vivid Collection for KnollTextiles includes three patterns in various colorways and each one has a painterly expressionistic effect and large scale design perfect for spaces that need an accent wall.

The state of the world economy has been shaky since the global recession in 2008, leaving many people jobless and many were even forced out of their homes due to mortgage woes. Consumerist as we are, the economic crisis appears to be heightened when we find that we cannot afford the same luxuries that we could when the inflow of money was smoother. To highlight the severity of personal economic meltdown and just how depressing and overwhelming the current economic climate is, designer Sebastian Errazuriz has created the Drowning in Debt Salt and Pepper Shaker Set.
Drowning in Debt Salt and Pepper Shaker Set
The set features an office worker with his work briefcase inside the shaker itself, commenting on the direness of the current global economic climate and how badly it affects the lives of the workers working at the grassroots levels in multinational companies.

The owners of this typical 1980s ranch in Gulf Breeze, FL, were tired of the ordinary. These empty-nesters were living in their “forever home,” so they decided to stop playing it safe and start spicing things up. The lady of the house wanted to turn the “ho-hum” master bathroom, with its oversized, rarely used tub and cramped shower, into a glamorous space that would make her feel glorious every morning. Her husband, by contrast, had more modest requirements—he simply wanted to break free from the claustrophobic shower. With the help of Cheryl Kees Clendenon, , principal of In Detail Interiors in Pensacola, FL, and Stacy Snowden, also of the same firm, the bathroom underwent a Cinderella-style transformation. The remodel, however, was not only about going from bland to beautiful. It was al Read more…
