HDTV is fast gaining popularity and it has now become a necessity in modern homes. These days nearly all major electronics companies are manufacturing HDTVs. During the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show, several companies launched their new HDTVs. Here is a list of 10 best HDTVs unveiled at the 2012 CES.

1 1. Toshibas glasses-free 3D HDTV

Manufactured by Japanese firm Toshiba, this glasses-free 3D HDTV boasts of a 55 inch screen and it is not a direct port of the ZL2. In 2D, this set displays at 4K (3840×2160), while in 3D it drops down to 720p (1280×720). The 3D effect of the model unveiled at the 2012 CES is much better than the prototypes that were put on display in 2011, but the 3D effect is not as good as offered in “regular” 3DTV.

Every English nerd dreams of having a personal library, like the one Belle stumbles onto in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. I am no exception. There isnt a single Arts & Crafts bookcase I wouldnt want in my home, and all of them together would create my ideal book palace. My favorite was the Arts & Crafts Mission Double Door Bookcase, its Old World feel and glass paneling perfect for showcasing my collection. While preparing the new Arts & Crafts product pages for our site, as well as admiring the bookcases, I found myself delving into quite the history lesson.

I inherited a front yard full of daffodils when I bought my house, and their numbers have been increasingly slowly for the past two decade. This year, the display seemed especially spectacular. There were so many yellow jonquils out front that I decided to cut some and bring them inside. The resulting display is below; there are somewhere around 40 daffodils in this vase, and it was a lush and cheerful bouquet for my office.

But maybe you don’t have hundreds of flowering bulbs in your yard — maybe you just have a handful. You can still cut a few to bring inside, and even a tiny arrangement can make an impact.
