Chandeliers have been on my mind and customers of my father lately. It’s a trend right now to have a semi fancy chandelier placed right above the center of the kitchen — depending on your size of kitchen, of course, and the size of your island. I fell in love with this photo the minute I saw it. And as much as I loved the room and the elegant furnishings, what caught my eye was the dog.

On countless shoots, I’ve seen dogs and cats find just the right place to be to make it into a photo. (The trick is that pets go toward the light, just like photographers do!) This bulldog had it all figured out.
